Matthew Lindauer is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Brooklyn College and the CUNY Graduate Center and Associate Professor of Psychology at the CUNY Graduate Center. He specializes in moral and political philosophy and moral psychology, often working at the intersections of these fields. His research uses a combination of theoretical and empirical methods to examine questions about the nature of moral motivation, justice, and other core philosophical topics. His book The Fruitfulness of Normative Concepts was recently published with Oxford University Press.
