Christofer Skurka

Christofer J. Skurka is an associate Professor of the Department of Media Studies for the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications at Pennsylvania State University. He studies exposure to and effects of media messages that aim to promote engagement with health, environmental, and science issues. Much of his work is concerned with theoretical questions around the roles that emotion and efficacy play in explaining these media effects.
