I am a political psychologist studying the role of moral judgments and the media in shaping political polarization and conflict. I also explore ways to heal conflict through interventions that build understanding and respect between opponents.
I am especially interested in how understandings of moral suffering and victimisation act both as a driver of conflict and a healer of divisions. I also develop tools and strategies for social media and journalists to find solutions for combating polarization.
