Lauren is a first year American politics PhD student at the University of Arizona, focusing specifically on political psychology. Her research focuses on how different forms of social exclusion affect political identity, ideology, polarization, out-group perception, empathy choice, and policy preference. She graduated in May 2024 from Penn State, and is a proud PSU and EMP Lab alum.
