Madhulika is a Social Psychology PhD student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She studies the intersections of morality, online behavior, and artificial intelligence (AI). In one line of work, she is interested in learning about how empathic AI can influence human behavior, and how people process using AI as a source of empathy. Additionally, she is interested in moral responsibility and moral narratives, specifically whether people perceive themselves to be more or less morally responsible to help others who share stories of victimization online.
