Assistant Professor, Psychology

I study social and moral cognition, with an emphasis on understanding how people think and feel about other people, particularly as this relates to how people form and revise their moral judgments. Related to this, I am interested in asymmetries in how people think about moral and immoral action (e.g., blame/praise asymmetries) and how people reason about unintended harms. Other interests include perspective taking and empathy, intentionality and mental states, and psychology and the law.
